Flexibility and the therapeutic relationship are key to positive outcomes for therapy clients. And, as such, I don't believe one size fits all. As a therapist, I feel that it's more important to meet my clients wherever they are in their healing and transformation. Therefore, the treatment modality(ies) I utilize with you in treatment will always be reflective of your needs in that space.
What can I expect during my time in therapy?
During your time in therapy, you can expect a safe, healing space, to overcome the barriers preventing you from experiencing the emotional freedom and wellness that comes through healing and transformation.
How long does therapy typically last?
The duration of therapy varies, depending on your desires, needs, and goals. As a partner in your healing and transformation process, I will work with you to create a plan that promotes a healthier and more sustainable path forward for you, your partner, and your family.
Is therapy confidential?
Absolutely! Your privacy is a priority, I adhere to strict ethical standards to protect your personal information.
Although, there is one exception! As a mandated reporter I am required (by law) to report the following concerns to the appropriate authorities:
- suicidal ideation (harm to self)
- homicidal ideation (harm to others)
- suspected child abuse or neglect (past or present)
